StorFirst Altus is the most secure disaster recovery option for Centera available without compromising your budget. The software allows you to use inexpensive secondary devices, such as tape, VTL or write-once disk as a final "safe" repository to ensure complete disaster recovery. James F. Moulton, Founder

Chief Executive Officer
A twenty-year storage veteran and serial entrepreneur, Jim has set corporate strategy for technical product development, introduced the industry's first automated data management product implementing virtual file systems, and has been at the forefront of the paradigm shift in the storage industry. Before launching Seven Ten, Jim was asked to manage multi-million dollar growth and provide storage product strategy at EMC for OEMs including Dell Computer, Symantec (then Veritas Software) and Intel Corporation. Gary J. Lafreniere

David Maxey

Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Dave Maxey is responsible for research and development of the Company’s products, and for delivery of those products to the marketplace.

Prior to Seven10, Dave was CTO and Chief Architect of ILM specialist Smart Storage, Inc. since its inception in 1992 until its acquisition by OTG Software in March 2001. At Cambridge based Lotus One Source Division and Smart Storage, Dave developed product lines that established each company as an industry-leading innovator in the field of file systems and the creation and development of ground-breaking client-server solutions for mission-critical vertical applications.

Maxey co-wrote the ‘Undocumented DOS’ and ‘Undocumented Windows’ books (Addison- Wesley) in the early ‘90s.

Oliver Biewald
