StorFirst Altus is the most secure disaster recovery option for Centera available without compromising your budget. The software allows you to use inexpensive secondary devices, such as tape, VTL or write-once disk as a final "safe" repository to ensure complete disaster recovery. Altus is a customer installable solution that provides full and incremental data protection operations for Centera. Built for CAS technology and purposely designed to run independent from complex back-ups, StorFirst Altus is the answer for Centera users unable or unwilling to purchase a second Centera.

To help us provide you with the most efficient service, please make sure to:
  • Call from the location you need us to troubleshoot
  • Have the version and serial number handy
  • Know the hardware and software configuration of the system
  • Print out the log file with errors, if possible
